About Us

"A Growing Community... Becoming Like Jesus"
Our Mission

Our Values

We believe the Gospel is so important that we are to share it with those around us as well as those far from us. We value personal evangelism as well as supporting missionaries who are sharing the gospel around the world

Relationships

We value community, serving together, and spending time with each other. The example that Jesus set for us was discipleship happens in the context of relationships.

Service

We value investing our time and talents in God’s kingdom. Whether it’s serving in kids ministry, on Sunday mornings, or throughout the week, service takes our faith to the community.

Family

We believe the family is the primary way God shares His grace from generation to generation. We value faith at home to equip and engage parents to disciple their children.

Generosity

We believe the way we handle our finances is important because it shows us where our heart really is. Generous people take care of those around, just a Jesus commanded.

What We Believe

The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s revelation of truth, His will and purpose, His actions in creation of the universe and throughout history. The Bible was written by human authors and reflects their personalities, but under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is, therefore, perfectly accurate, authoritative, and complete. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; James 1:22-25; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Revelation 22:18-19)
God

He is the creator and sustainer of all things, the Lord of all that exists. He is eternal– no beginning, no ending–the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is one but also exists in three personalities: Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1-2; John 1:1-4; Acts 17:24-29; Deuteronomy 6:4-5)

Jesus

He is God’s only, unique, eternally existent Son, co-equal with the Father. He lived on earth in human form by miraculous conception and virgin birth. Jesus lived a sinless life and was the promised Messiah who gave His life as a willing sacrifice for our sins by dying on the cross. His resurrection from the grave provides an opportunity for all to receive the gift of eternal life in heaven through faith in Him. He ascended to heaven’s glory and will return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (John 3:16-17; 14:1-6; 1 Timothy 6:13-15)

The Church

God has always desired to have a people in fellowship with Him. In the Old Testament times, God permitted the Israelites to be His chosen people to live according to His laws and teachings. Since Jesus’ coming, the church–the people of God through faith in Christ Jesus–are those who live for Him and share His truths with others all over the world. (Ephesians 1:3-10; 5:23-27; Matthew 16:18; 28:19-20)

The Holy Spirit

He is personal, with characteristics of a person, and is the one who comes to live within every believer at conversion. He provides the believer with all that is necessary (direction, gifts, fruit) to live according to the will and purpose of God. (Acts 2:38-39; 1 Corinthians 2:10-14; Romans 12:4-8; Galatians 5:22-23)

Humans
All men and women of all races and nationalities have been created by God in His own image to be like Him and to have a personal faith in and a relationship with Him. All have the potential for good, but all have sinned against God and stand in need of forgiveness and salvation. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:22-24; Galatians 3:22)
Salvation
It is purely the act of God. No one can save himself (or herself) through good deeds, charitable gifts, or self-improvement. Salvation (forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God) is an act of God’s love and grace. This gift is free to any person who chooses to follow Jesus Christ in faith and then demonstrates that faith by obedience to Jesus as Lord. (Romans 5:8; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16)
